This book gives easy and concise instructions on how to get RetroPie installed and configured. The resource list has been helpful with some of the more advanced features.
Very basic information which is readily available on YouTube.com in far less time than it took to read this book.
Useless, only collects some information retropie.co.uk .
No tutorials recommendations.
Neither includes all emulators .
It does not explain how to get better performance in any emulator.
Money wasted!
I read this book virtual cover-to-cover and really enjoyed it.
I've been reading this book and also the "No bull guide to MAME Arcade Builder's Guide" book simultaneously. I find that they really complement each other as this book is a strong primer on the software side of buying the pi kit/setting up RetroPie and the No bull book is good on arcade hardware, controls and cabinet.
I just ordered my Raspberry pi kit and am looking forward to building the RetroPie system proscribed here. In time I will build it into a full arcade cabinet.
