I'm wonderfully content with this conclusion to the 6-part miniseries of Midnighter and Apollo.
Well, except that I would love moarrr of them, of course. :D

All of the best parts of this series make appearances: Neron is a fantastic baddie all the way through, M & A face some final obstacles that are clever and cool which allow their personalities to shine through now that they're finally in the same room - even if it's hell - , and Gregorio appears at the right time and retains his status as my not so secret favorite.

The coloring once again helps create atmosphere and meaning in each location, and during each transition. The drawing is delish.

I'm sooooooo tempted to share one of my favorite exchanges in this issue, but I don't want to deprive you of that enjoyable experience. :D

Saying Steve Orlando's interpretation of the character isn't close to the best the character had seen in ages is an understatement. Midnighter is a truly worthy series, and those not reading it are missing out.
Super exciting and hot
This is a great conclusion to the miniseries as it leaves the story open for more comics. The story can be used as a lesson against trying to stop love in our modern times, a tale of true love and devotion, or take at face value as the greatest married duo around fight bad guys and the devil. Any way you look at it, Midnighter will always be the big bad a**!
